The central issue reflected in Melkovics’s work is the origin of life. Genesis, the secret of birth and the very process of development interest him most. His works are built up through simple abstract elements and the viewer can see the process through which the work becomes increasingly complex. He creates his work with multiplied main elements, which blossom like a living being, and become an organic complex sculpture.
